Customer Industry Types

Industry Type was introduced as a selection on the Customer Screen in version 8.4000. 

Industry Types are populated by a list of 105 standard Industry types, these can be managed in Admin / Settings / Customers / Manage Industry Types.  The standard list of codes came from Statistics New Zealand.

Industry Type does not currently show on any reporting.  This list does not show the Group Numbers that will allow the Industry Types to be imported against a Customer.

 

Currently you will need your Partner or Support to add Industry Type to Import Routine to make the field available on the Import Data Setup.   Using the code listed below, it can then be added to the Import Routine for any Customer.
