This is when invoices and Credits are sent directly from Infusion and allows the process to be automatic and not using the Trade Portal to upload manually.
Infusion will need to add the Hook file to your system first. Then set up each customer as detailed below.
Simpro
Once the Invoice Hook File is in place, create the contacts in Infusion under the Customer (who uses Simpro or Fergus). For Simpro you need 2 contacts. The first contact should be named Simpro as a first name and Invoice as the Surname. The email address will be an encrypted email address that the customer can obtain from Simpro. This is unique to each customer.
The second contact is the same except the surname is Credit, Simpro are a unique and require a different email address to send credits to. (You can test using your own email to see if CSV sends). Example below. Save the contact.
DO NOT ADD THE CONTACT SIMPRO TO EMAIL LINKS, the CSV will send with no email link required.
Add any other contacts or main email addresses to the contact links and these people will receive the PDF as normal.
Fergus
Repeat the above setps, except the customer contact is “Fergus” (no surname as they only need one email address for both invoices and credits to go to) and the encrypted email address supplied by Fergus. Or add their own to test the function is working and you receive the csv.
DO NOT ADD THE CONTACT FERGUS TO EMAIL LINKS, the CSV will send with no email link required.
Note the Trade Portal can still be used if they want a reprint of an invoice or credit in CSV format.
The Customer can also look at products and pricing from the Trade Portal.
