We have a staff member that is no longer working for us and has now been made inactive. What will happen to all of the Backorders that have been created under this Rep's name?
Solution
If you make the Staff Member inactive before processing the Backorders, the Sold By field will still show the Inactive Staff Member in the newly Pending Invoice created when filling the backorders.
If you click into that field you will not be able to use the Inactive staff member.
However, if you are sure you still want to process the invoice against the Inactive Staff member (for example, if the Rep has left but still gets commission on backorders being processed) you can process the invoice without clicking into the Sold By field.
You can still report Sales Analysis against the Inactive Staff member
