Swapping Product Groups

We are reorganising our Product Groups and I want to swap some of our products from one group to another, can we do this?

Solution

There is an option under Products / Utilities to swap a Product Group. 

But, before you swap to the new group, it has to exist in your system.

To ensure the new group exists see Product Groups

Also check if you are using:

• Discount Matrix settings Customers / Reports / Discount Matrix by Customer Group Detail
• Contract Rates on Product Groups Customer / Reports Contract Rates

For any of the groups being swapped. These will not be swapped when the Product Group is swapped and you will need the assistance of Support or your Infusion Partner.

Select the Source Group (the Group that will be moved) and the Destination Group (where the Products will end up).

Using the Parameters fields will allow greater control over which products are swapped if the entire Group is not to be moved.
