Utility - Bulk Swap Product Codes

My Supplier is updating all of their Supplier Codes and I want to change all of our Products Codes to match, can we do this?

Solution

Yes, there is a Chargeable Utility available from the Support team or your Partner (Bulk Stock Swap). 

It will allow you to do a bulk swap of the Old Product Code to a New Product Code. Instead of doing this one Product Code at a time.

 After the utility is installed in your system it is available under Admin / Custom Utilities.

We recommend backing up your system before running this.

Selecting it will open this window

Select Swap Product Codes and navigate to the saved CSV.  It only needs Two coloumns, the old code and the new one.

While the swap is occurring, in the top right hand side of the screen a counter will show.

At the completion of the Swap a prompt will appear, it will either show swap complete of list the number of products not swapped and give the option to print a list.

If the new Product Code exists in your system the swap is not done, these products can be merged. 

Note: Additional Barcode records are not updated and will need to be updated manually if populated.   Prodbc.dbf
