Local Network 6 plus Computers

It is required that Work Stations connect to the Server using an RDP or Terminal Server connection.

A HP ML110 Server is recommended to host the software. Minimum specifications for the server are

Enterprise grade server platform from a reputable vendor
Modern multicore server processor (minimum 8 physical cores)
64 GB RAM minimum (128 GB recommended for larger environments)
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports minimum (10 Gigabit recommended where available)
Redundant power supplies (recommended)
Hardware RAID controller or enterprise storage redundancy
500 GB Enterprise SSD (or NVMe SSD) for the operating system and applications
Minimum 2 × 2 TB enterprise-grade SSDs or HDDs configured in RAID 1 for application data
Storage capacity should be reviewed based on expected data growth and retention requirements
Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Standard or later
Remote Desktop Services (RDS) licensing where remote user access is required
Wireless connection is not supported

General Requirements

Cloud Hosting requires a minimum internet connection of Fibre with a minimum connection speed of at least 10mbps. Your connection speed can be tested by going to speedtest.net
For reliability all printers are to be networked and have external port forwarding set up on the router.
The router must be assigned a static external IP address

Workstation Requirements

Operating system to support Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection, we recommend Windows 11
22” Screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. 4K Displays and Hi DPI mobile displays are not supported

Laptops running 11 and 13-inch screens will still run Infusion but it will be small to read. You must leave the Font Size as Normal

Note: If you adjust the font size under Windows, reports and layouts will print with the right hand margin missing.

Netbooks have proven difficult to use with Infusion as the combination of screen size, resolution and font size cause issues

Tablets may need an RDP connection to run. This will require the appropriate installation of the RDP App for the device.
