Open Cash Drawer When Printing Eftpos Dockets

To enable the Cash Drawer to open when printing EFTPOS receipts, the following settings need to be enabled.

After the receipt printer is installed, ensure that the cash drawer cable is connected to the Receipt printer.

Right click on properties of the Receipt Printer

Select Preferences / Peripherals and set Cash Drawer to Open. Choose Operation Check to test everything is set up correctly.

A successful test will produce this message:

If the cash drawer doesn’t open, double check that it is plugged into the receipt printer, that the drawer is not locked and free of obstructions.
