When on the Branch system and selecting Check for Update a message comes up advising users "Access to the Central Product File is denied by the Server. Please contact the Central Product File Manager"
This message appears when the Branch's System ID is not saved on the Manage Central Product File screen.
Go to the Central System and ensure that the System ID is displaying. Add if it is not. Save this screen and then Check for Updates again.
To confirm which branches are linked to the CPF, check the FTP server and copy the contents of the CPFdata folder back to your own computer and open the dbf file.
Note in the example below the Central system ID is 15584 and this has been added as a branch as well so it formed a loop.
