We started setting up Customer Items but were never successful. We want to delete them all and start all over again.
How can we do this?
There are a couple of options within the software:
- Delete one by one: Admin / Deleting / Customer Items
- Purge – Strongly recommend a backup first – and run the purge when there are no other users logged in - Admin / Other / Purge Data. Select Customers – Items
The Purge method will delete any services, asset types etc which takes you right back to a clean slate to start setting up from scratch.
The Delete method will leave any settings / services etc you had set up.
If neither of those options are suitable, come back to us but I would recommend using one of these built in options as it does a better job of ensuring the items are eligible for deletion than we would doing anything in the tables in behind.
