An installation of Infusion was able to be opened when the computer was booted in Safe Mode, but attempting to open when in normal mode just caused a flicker on the screen then the software shut straight down.
It was found that Security Manager AV Defender antivirus software had been updated and the Processes had to be excluded rather than just the files.
Once these exclusions were set, Infusion opens as expected.
Infusion also ran when a Support team member used Teamviewer to log into the PC. It is not known why running Teamviewer allowed the software to run.
