Recosting Kitsets

When the cost price of Products increases this does not automatically flow through to Kitset items.

To increase the kitset cost price, this can be done manually by opening each kitset and saving to get the recost prompts.

Alternatively to recost all kitsets at once the system has an option to do this.

 It is recommended that the Kitset Product reports are run before this is done, as well as a backup.

Products / Recalculate Kitsets

Once selected a prompt will appear.  This will update all of the Cost Prices of the Kitset will the latest component prices.

Do you want to recalculate the selling prices? The recalculation of the selling prices will use the Retail prices of the components and add these together to calculate the Selling Price of the Kitset.

On completion of the recosting, the following window will appear

If Weight is loaded against the components, this will be updated in the kitset.  But length, width, height, and volume are not.

Note: Being logged on as Partner will not bring up the Recosting of Kitsets prompt.
