Q. What companies integrate to POS?
A. In New Zealand Windcave (formerly known as DPS or Payment Express) and for the Australian users Tyro and PC Eftpos. But see Which Eftpos Terminals Link to Infusion to confirm the Terminal to be used, based on your system configuration.
Q. Can you have 2 POS lanes (cash drawers) but only one EFTPOS terminal?
A. No this is not possible within Infusion.
Q. Can you network a DPS pinpad & use if from multiple Infusion POS PC's?
A. No, DPS stipulates one pinpad per POS PC.
Q. Do you have to have a Receipt Printer or can I still use my A4 layout?
A. From an Infusion perspective there must be a receipt printer available.You will not be able to setup Infusion DPS side until your change your POS defaults to look at the DPS receipt printer.
Q. Why isn't DPS firing up when I select my Quick Payments method?
A. Go into Settings > Manage Banking Groups > EFTPOS and then edit each of the relevant methods. When you save them it will ask if you want to use it with DPS.
Q. What are the new options on the POS log for?
A. EFTPOS Logon will allow you to log on to the EFTPOS banking network. This is usually done by your DPS software so you should not need to use this.
EFTPOS Subtotal will give you a report on what has been processed since the last cutover or the last time you checked the subtotal
EFTPOS cutover allows you to force a cutover.
Q. Does Infusion Integrated EFTPOS support split (multiple method) payments?
A. No - updated version 9 to allow for this.
