How do I set up my email defaults to use Hotmail or Windows Live?
Solution
Email Defaults are entered from Admin / Setup Email Defaults
Email Server: smtp.live.com
Defaults Sending Email Address: the address that outgoing emails will be from
Username: your hotmail email email address
Password: your hotmail password
Select Use TLS
Server Port 587
SMTP Authorisation Method: empty

Save
Open the Email Defaults and select Test Now to send a test message to ensure the settings are correct.
It may be necessary to change the Use Document Creators email address, Require Username flags or try different SMTP Authorisation Methods if necessary.
