Fixed Asset Module – Immediate Write Off (IWO)

I am trying to enter an asset with 100% depreciation as per the accountant’s instructions so we can instantly claim the full depreciation amount, however I get a warning saying ‘Please check your entry, something is invalid’

Solution

You will not be able to add a brand-new asset with 100% depreciation.

However, you will be able to add it for another percentage, and then open the newly created asset from the Fixed Assets module and edit the depreciation afterward.
