Switch on this feature by going to Settings / Jobs and turning on “Questionnaires”.
To setup a new Questionnaire, when logged in under an Admin user select “Set up Questions” on the main Settings screen.
From the Questionnaires page the user can:
See the current list of questionnaires – clicking on any item will open the questionnaire allowing the Title, Questionnaire Type and Service type to be edited. The questions for the Questionnaire can be edited by clicking the “Questions” option in the top menu bar.
A new Questionnaire can be added by selecting the plus button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Adding and Removing questions to a Questionnaire:
Add a new Question by clicking the plus button – this will duplicate the last question in the list.
Remove a Question by clicking the minus button – this will remove the last question in the list (unless it’s the only one in the list)
The Question label can be edited by clicking into the Label field.
Set the Type of Question response field from the dropdown box.
Set the order of the Question by dragging it up or down using the up / down arrows.
Certain question types provide further defining – you’ll see a pencil appear for these types, eg: Boolean and Table.
Booleans are further defined by providing the “On” and “Off” values. eg: “Yes” or “No”
Tables are further defined by columns and rows which appear on the screen once the table is defined. Each column can be given its own label.
All updates are saved immediately when changes are made.
The Required option will make sure the user answers the question before it can be submitted. Turning this means the user can leave the question unanswered.
Note: Only Jobs that have synced can have Questionnaires added to them.
Add a question to a Job:
Open a job
Click the Q & A option in the menu bar.
Select the Plus button to add a Questionnaire – use the Minus to remove them.
Note: if the Job has a Customer Item set against it that is associated with a Service Type and there is a Service Questionnaire setup against this the Questionnaire will automatically be assigned to the Job.
Accessing a Questionnaire:
To view and update a Questionnaire on a Job, open the Job and select Q & A from the top menu. Click on the desired Questionnaire
Selecting Submit on the Questionnaire will set it to Read Only. When viewing a Questionnaire that has been submitted a user can
Redo – sets the Questionnaire to being editable
Print – print of copy of the data on the screen
Reset – clear all data in the response fields
Note: to have a Service Questionnaire display when a Job is selected activate the “Go to incomplete Q&A page opening a Job” option under Job settings
