Message: Numeric Overflow. Data was lost.

This error occurred when a user was trying to import new/ update existing imported items inside the Supplier Digital Invoice Import screen (Xtracta).

Solution

This occurred as a result of a product code that had been brought in with a value that was an extremely large amount.

Xtracta had mapped the incorrect field into the rate field for a line, resulting in the field displaying in the Supplier Digital Invoice Import Screen with Asterisks.

The solution was to open the item in Xtracta and map the correct field instead, save the document and then update/ reimport it inside the Supplier Digital Invoice Import Screen.
