The following issues have been discovered after Windows Updates
A user was on Windows 11 21H2 and was upgraded to 22H2.
Following the upgrade they experienced problems printing, including slow printing and freezing before printing anything.
The IT company rolled the upgrade back to 21H2 and the printing problems were no longer being experienced.
Remote Desktop can’t connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons
1)Remote access to the server is not enabled
2)The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network
Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.
There were no issues at the server end as all other users on site were successfully logged in.
The user was connected to the internet.
They could connect using the same credentials from another internal and external PC.
Remote desktop was enabled.
After checking the windows update log updates had recently been installed
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5023696)
After rolling back this update the remote connection worked, unsure whether it was removing the update or the computer restart that resolved the issue.
