A number of users have reported that if they use Infusion to open and view a created PDF it then locks the pdf viewer from opening other PDF files.
This issue has occurred on a range of machines and is not caused by Infusion. It appears that if you open a PDF attachment from an email or from within Infusion (such as the Email queue) then the problem can occur.
Users need to open the Task Manager and End Task on the multiple instances of Adobe that are running.
