My Printer is Networked But Won’t Stay As Default On the Hosted Server

To turn off redirected Printers and allow your hosted session to control its own printers:

NB: You would generally only turn off printers in this way if you have a networked printer set up.  Check with Infusion Support if you are unsure.

Right Click on the icon on your desktop and select edit.

Click the Local Resources tab and Uncheck Printers.

Click the General Tab and select Save.

To set your networked printer as default within the hosted session:

Once you’ve logged into the hosted server, go to a print dialogue, and ensure the networked printer is set as default.

You can do this within Infusion – when you bring up the print dialogue, right click on the correct printer and Set as Default Printer.

You’ll be able to see the Current Default with the green tick as per the circle below.
