The Cashbook Payment method "Direct To Bank" is no longer available
When a POS invoice is processed and Process Sale (F7) is used
a POS user processes a normal invoice to a cash sale customer the user is presented with screens
CUSTINVPAYMENT2 or POS_MULTIMETHOD
which allow the user to select from multiple banking methods.
These screens display the Banking Methods in alphabetical order.
The screens omit the “**Direct To Bank ** “ payment method, which is alphabetically the first banking method.
A user had altered the description of that method to take out the ** (pre 5.02); but they had a banking method of “American Express” which they never used and it never displayed… but then they tidied that up at the same time as the upgrade – and that’s when they lost CASH…
Users are not able to alter the description of the “** Direct to Bank **” banking method.
